Eggscapades of the Child ("Eggscapades" for short) is a JavaScript game built using the Kaboom.js framework, which I built on a team of 5 people for a Hackathon. The child (aka Grogu/the creature) is aboard a ship with the Frog Lady and her jar of delicious eggs. He's not meant to eat them, but they taste so good! Can you grab as many eggs as you can from the jar, when the Frog lady isn't looking? Be careful, or she'll catch you! If you're really smart, you might even get to see your elusive protector, the Mandalorian. But he's not keen on you eating those eggs, either, so that's double trouble! It was my first time using Kaboom.js, but we learned quickly as a team. I even used it in another group project later on. I also found my love for Hackathons during this project - it was my first of four, and I look forward to many more!
Judgement Day (J-day) is a retro game based on the Terminator franchise. A top-down shooter game with interactive enemies, difficulty progression, arcade style music and game sounds. Using solely the kaboom.js framework to implement various functions and colliding objects that combines to give the user a unique game play as well as nostalgic experience. This project was for a Hackathon, where I worked on a team with 6 others (the Terminaltors). I really enjoyed it and was happy to get the chance to use the Kaboom.js library again. This time around, I also had the responsibility of being Scrum Master, which I really enjoyed.

GrimManor is a challenge to complete a series of minigames to find clues as to what happened to the young man. It was the project for my 4th Hackathon and I was the Scrum Master for the project. You are presented with the image of a dark mansion on a rain-soaked night. Text invites you to seek refuge and enter. Once indoors, a gloomy corridor with multiple doors greets you and a young, pale man appears. When you have completed the minigames, the clues you have gathered will tell the story of what happened to the young man, you can complete the exit quiz and you will have completed the game!

A project I produced with a group during a hackathon in October of 2023, a Halloween theme was the only requirement and we decided on a cluedo based Halloween game. A thrilling murder mystery game, inspired by the classic board game "Cluedo." In our quest to provide an engaging and interactive experience, we've crafted a unique digital adventure that challenges you to use your detective skills to solve a captivating murder mystery.

The Shopify Theme Details Bookmarklet allows you to quickly identify a Shopify Theme, as well as some of the details of the store or theme. Details include whether or not the theme is on Checkout with extensibility or Checkout Classic, the theme developer, name, ID, version, when it became a 2.0 theme and support documentation. The bookmarklet is built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and uses a fetch request to check if the version is the most recent version. If not, an update message is displayed. The bookmarklet was made a productivity tool within Shopify, so there are some features specific to the job, such as the ability to copy the details as markdown so they can easily be shared in Slack.

This Memory Card game follows the classic version's structure and goals. However, this updated version includes a deck of 20 cards containing 10 pairs, featuring 10 famous and popular rock stars. The game is simple and intuitive, requiring players to click on each card to flip it over and find its matching pair. Before starting the game, players will be prompted to log in and enter their name. The name should contain at least 3 and no more than 12 characters. Once the name is entered, players can click the start button and begin playing. Upon starting the game, players will be presented with a deck of cards. Clicking each card one by one will reveal its face, and players must find all 10 pairs to complete the game. The objective of the game is to complete it with as few attempts as possible. We hope you enjoy playing the Rock Star memory game!
